I'm in what feels like a million photography groups on Facebook and a topic that always comes up is extended families and how to photograph them. The general consensus is that it's hard; not worth it; and stressful. I don't understand that at all - I LOVE extended families! The relationships, the generations, the opportunity for SO many great photos. And most kids adore their grandparents which makes it way easier to capture genuine smiles!
I was honored to take photos for the Regier family earlier this month. Twin babies and a 2 year old did make it a bit of a challenge, but those ages also bring so much life to a family. This family was great: the perfect mix between having their own ideas but also going along with the silly things I made them do.
As always, I try to keep sessions under an hour - anything over that and people start to lose interest. This session was right at 45 minutes and I delivered 71 beautiful images to the family! Thanks, Regier family, for the great time!
