One of the hardest parts of being a photographer is that much of the success of a session depends on the weather. In Nebraska, that means that I am constantly checking the weather app in the days and hours leading up to a session. When the Springer family contacted me for photos to celebrate their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary at the end of March, I knew the weather could either be amazing or super crappy.
And….it was super crappy. Like snowing, windy, and 27 degrees. Our backup plan was photos at the church and I was up for the challenge of making them not look super boring or like we were at a wedding (so no using the front of the sanctuary!).
I can’t share them all due to privacy concerns, but here are a few of my favorites!
